It has come to my attention that I don’t tie the strip in very well with my blog. The problem is that the strip isn’t always topical. Thus, it can be hard to say something about every strip.
The process goes something like this; Rob and I discuss the general direction we want to take the story. Afterwards, I write out the scripts for him to draw. He draws, inks colors and letters the strips. He emails them to me, I write a blog and post them. That’s how we do things around here. Someday when we may be doing this for a living we will be able to all of this in a day.
Because of this method I don’t often have much to say about a particular strip, but I will work on focusing on the strip more. Today’s strip, for example, is us still building up to Flash and Paige’s wedding in a week. Flash is taking a week off to help Paige get ready for the wedding. In the meantime someone new will be working at the store. We are really excited to be developing this storyline. This was where we wanted to be with our characters for a while. We hope you like the next few strips.
Rob will be taking over Monday while I am on vacation with my wife, so if the site starts looking crazy it’ll be all his fault.
