Well Greg should be getting back from his trip soon, so this will be the last you have to deal with me, and my ramblings.

Yesterday was a little known holiday called Catie and Rob Are Alive Day. Several years ago The Gregs, myself and a few other friends went up to New Hampshire for the weekend to visit a friend and watch the fireworks (that year it was during the week, so the celebration was on a saturday). On our way back to our friends’ house, she threw on The Matrix soundtrack, and I thought it would be the perfect time to ask her out. Because the Matrix is a TOTAL mood setter. I did, and she said yes. And she must have gotten INCREDIBLY excited, because she ran us right off the road. And it was during the song that was playing during the scene with the girl in the red dress (I still can’t watch that scene without seeing that damn dirt road). Now MAYBE it wasn’t the thought of going to a movie with me, and me stammering my way through a conversation that drove her out of control. MAYBE it was the fact that we were following our friend downhill, on a dirt road, at night, on a hairpin turn. But I like to think it was my awesomeness, and my willingness to share said awesomeness with her. I mean it just makes more sense, right? Looking back, everything about that accident should have killed us. But alas, we didn’t (I think it’s the little bit of Scottish in me, you know, part Highlander). And because of which, this time every year, in celebration of Catie and I still kicking tail and rocking out to this day it is required to enjoy one of your favorite meals. I celebrated with chilli cheese dogs. Hell yeah. So go out this weekend and celebrate this amazing holiday!

Just be careful if your celebrating up in podunk New Hampshire, that shize is dangerous.
