Five and Dime Comics

Cyclops’s powers are a big part of what makes him my favorite. First, his powers emit constantly. So there is no real drain on his body. The only time he is tired when he is trying to force the beams back so he can close his eyes. That means unlike most projectile energy blasts it doesn’t take energy from his body. The visor he wears allows him to control the way the beams function. They can be laser accurate, tidal wave strong or be bounced around a room. The level of diversity in his power is like that of Magneto.  He can punch a hole through a sentinel, and I’m sure that’s not an easy task. I theorize that if he were to put his mind to it he could puncture Wolverine’s adamantium skeleton.  He has knocked Thor’s hammer from his hand, and overloaded Bishop. If he were to cut loose no character could stand up to him. So in the end, it’s an unbelievably strong power given to a man with great leadership, combat training and great intelligence. Cyclops is my favorite, I admit it. I feel better now.
