I was SUPPOSED to be blogging. There was a great many things I could have done today, but instead I played “Assassin’s Creed 2” all day. It’s not a bad way to kill a day. (Ha ha, get it? KILL a day!) Anyway, I haven’t played a video game for a whole day in a long time. I sorta miss it. Now I have responsibilities and all that stuff. It becomes less acceptable to kill a day sitting on your butt as you get older. The one advantage I got from today was that it really helped me to feel motivated for the upcoming week.

As for the game itself, I really enjoyed it. I’m a completionist by nature. I like games where I have to work at getting everything in the game. Sometimes it can get tedious, but I like the challenge. I think the “Final Fantasy” games gave me Video Game Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (VGOCD) and I still suffer from it. Games like “Assassin’s Creed,” where every object collected has a purpose get their hooks in me and don’t let go. I have to get everything or I feel haven’t “beaten” the game. I still have some work to do with “Assassin’s Creed 2,” but it will be done soon enough.

I borrowed “Assassin’s Creed 2” from Rob. Now I’m hoping our good friend Greg will be kind enough to let me borrow “Assassin’s Creed 2: Brotherhood” so I can kill another day with a retractable blade to the throat.
