We told you the answer, but we wanted to do a strip to solidify the response. Also, it was a good strip to get Rob back into the flow. A week off from drawing can make you a little rusty.
I’m in book three of the Thanos Rising series. Rob and I had a discussion about this comic idea a long time ago. Back when Origin came out. I expressed a desire to see Marvel do an origin story for many other characters. Thanos was top of my list. Finally, after all these years, I got my wish.
I’ll lead off by telling you I’m a huge Thanos fan. I like Marvel galactic characters more than most earthbound characters. I love the Silver Surfer, Nova, Adam Warlock, and so on. So I’m an easy mark for this title.
With only three issues to go on, I can’t tell you how it will be as a whole series. However, I don’t want you to have to wait if you were interested in picking it up. Start picking it up now, and Give it a read. The artwork is solid and the writing is compelling.
Also, the upcoming Marvel movies are going involve Thanos. You may want to learn a little bit about him. Before the movies come out, I would also pick up a trade of The Infinity Gauntlet and The Infinity Wars.
