Rob “The Wild Man” Jeannotte
artist/writer: rob.jeannotte@fiveanddimecomics.com
Rob can trace his family’s lineage back to the original settlers of North America. Fortunately, many of OUR ancestors wiped them out and made the land civilized—he’s half injin. Moving along, Rob Jeannotte’s origin story starts out with him being bitten. Unfortunately, it was not a radioactive spider that would have altered his DNA and given him superpowers. No, he was bitten by the art bug. Since he can barely grasp the concept of human speech, and he writes like a raptor hunts (it usually gets the job done but it’ll be messy), he has to communicate somehow. That left music or art. He made the right choice. Despite his shortcomings, Rob is quite honestly the friendliest person on the planet. His ability to always be genuine endears him to even the harshest of critics.
Greg “Inky” Charland
writer/designer: inky.charland@fiveanddimecomics.com
Greg “Inky” Charland is more like his comic book heroes than most people realize. Namely, Superman. Like Superman, he’s from Kansas, he can fly … in a plane, he has super strength … of will, and he has a dual identity. To his family, he’s Greg. Greg is quiet, content to keep the status quo, and not ruffle any feathers. To his closest friends, he’s Inky. Inky is loud, opinionated, and authoritative. The struggle to keep both halves of his identity is kept in check by his supportive wife, loving family, and loyal friends (who are a mere 1,500 miles away). If his isolation in the desolate land of Middle America have taught him anything, it’s to take life as it comes. Sleep when you’re tired, eat when you’re hungry, and laugh at everything.

My dear baby cousin!! You are doing a fantastic job with the strip, I am so proud of you!! Keep up the good work. Love you lots!!
My Boy Rob has done wonders with his Old man, I can be having a fit and they happen often, he can calm me down with a few words, Something he got from his Mom, The Great one gave him to us in the spring of 1982,He had Irish ears, And a fast smile another trait from his Mom, Then the friends started arriving, Big Greg was the first, Then Brien Richburge, and his brother Eric, the popsicle bum,Danny Macaroni also known as the Midnight Drummer he stands 6’13″s. Steve, Mike and Azad Then came Amber,Becca,Lisa,Now they are off to college a scatter from NH to GA, During the Holiday vacations the intire House was full of kids sleeping every where it was tough going to the bath room with no floor space this old ranch was never intended for that kinda population Then Greg Charland arrived home with Rob to spend the summer with us another great kid, The only thing I complain about is I never had money to play with at least one of these kids was always broke and they would plan a good time and I just could not watch one of them sitting it out because they could not afford it.Mom and I loved them all and we treated them all the same, I miss them hanging around giving me a hard time. We still see them often but its not the same, Some are getting married others are buried in their work. I can still see Mom “J” making brownies by the bushel, And watching 5 gallons of Hunters soup empty out when Greg Charland returned from Iraq I thought he would blow up from to much food, I just want you to know I would do it all again Only this time I would be ready for all of you.
